Hedge Creek Falls
| We went on the short hike to this spectacular waterfall near Dunsmuir. It's located in a beautiful canyon that is especially nice to visit in the fall when the oak and big leaf maples are turning! |
| We also stopped by our favorite spot on the Upper Sacramento River - Sims Flat Campground. Here there is a cool suspension bridge which was the first major construction project by the CCC's. This was also the site of one of the first CCC Camps and there's a nice walkway around the camp with interpretive signs. Nowadays it's a nice spot to camp, fish, float and take in the beauty of fall! |
